Wow, they haven't deleted my blog!

After 6 months, it's still around even though I've had nothing to do with it. Needless to say, it has been a very busy school year since August. Which is about the time I dropped the ball on the blog... I'm sure the two have something in common! Just quick catch up for anyone still reading. I had eye surgery Aug. 13 to correct my double vision. It's amazing what doctors can do now. Things went well and I now see only one of everything. The only trouble I have is at night when I get really tired I still have some double vision, but that's much better than seeing two all the time.

Work has been ok, I have a new school so that's a challenge. I'm definitely learning a lot! I guess the biggest news lately was the snow blizzard we had last week. It was like having another Christmas break! We just got into the routine again and they are already calling for more wintery weather. We'll see what happens - I'd prefer no more this year, but we will see.

I recently (Monday) started a new Bible study about life interruptions. This week we are studying how to think of these "interruptions" as Divine Interventions instead of something getting in the way of what our own plans are. I think I like this new thought process and it will take me awhile to refocus, but I really would like to see things more as Divine Interventions!! Life throws us curveballs all the time and all we can do is pray and trust that God is the one in control. Yes, it's much easier said than done and I would be the first to say that I do not always do this. But, hopefully, with some work, I can make an improvement!

Glad to be back on here, hopefully it won't be another 6 months before I'm back!
